10K & "World Famous" Pancake Breakfast

Here we are before the start of the run. I was a bit off that day and didn't run so great. I was perplexed all weekend as to exactly why I had such a bad run, but it's obvious to me now - my hat brim was crooked!

Here's Sara in her "neighbor-hood." Check out Nicke's blog for a picture of Little Sara in her "neighbor-hood." It must be a Sara thing..

Mazama Fun Run!

Darin and I and Sara and Jay are going to Mazama tomorrow. Saturday, we're running the 10K Fun Run - which is followed by a "world famous" pancake breakfast. I can't wait! Darin and I love Mazama, and here's why -

Chloe Deason

Darin and I watched Chloe over the weekend. Saturday is chore day, so I informed Chloe that her job was going to be dusting. I don't think she's dusted before, because she didn't quite understand what I meant. Dusting? What's that?
So since she doesn't have thumbs, I put towels on her back and asked her to dust the floor. She worked diligently for a whole 30 seconds or so. Then she had some words to share...

Want Your Skis? Go Get 'Em.

Not only has Sara's hair - at some point in the past - looked like Conan O'briens...

But when she's in the bathtub, her hair looks like that of one my all-time favorite Warren Miller skiers - Glen Plake. She just needs to add a bit of color.

Nuff said....

My Protege

I have a new protege at work. Her name is Sara Cutler, and she's absolutely adorable.

Hooray for Sara! Now go get me a coffee!

Run Forrest Run

Here we are after running a 10K. Darin ran it in 57 minutes, and I ran it in 58. Not too bad for one day of training. :-0

Here I am with my friend, Sara. She's the coolest; she ran the half marathon, and she's still smiling!
The three of us ran the Apple Blossom 5K last weekend. Darin ran it in 26 minutes; I ran it in 28:58, and Sara ran it in 29. It was a PR for all of us!

Here's Sara's hubby, Jay, and kiddo, Chloe. (Word - Jay!) They were the two smart ones - they didn't run. Chloe would have beat us all; she's a very good runner.
